High Schools

Some high school students may enter the long-term care workforce. Many teenagers see parents caring for aging grandparents. Dementia can cause anxiety and distress for teenagers who are losing beloved grandparents. These programs depict a positive image of older people as well as describe brain malfunction produced by dementia. You can teach high school students how to provide better support to demented family members or encourage some students to enter the long-term care workforce.
